Fajita Meatball Sliders Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 cup diced onions
  • ½ cup diced bell peppers
  • 4 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 lb ground chicken
  • 1 lb ground pork
  • ½ cup breadcrumbs
  • ½ tsp cumin
  • ½ tsp chili powder
  • ½ tsp paprika
  • ½ tsp sea salt
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 tsp hot sauce
  • 1 cup pepper jack cheese (shredded)
  • 12 King’s Hawaiian Jalapeno Rolls
  • Serve with guacamole & hot sauce

Fajita Meatball Sliders Instructions

Preheat the oven to 400°F.

Add the olive oil to a large skillet over medium high heat. Add the onions, bell peppers and garlic, saute 4-5 minutes then remove from the heat and set aside.

In a large bowl, combine the ground chicken, ground pork, breadcrumbs, cumin, chili powder, paprika, salt, eggs, hot sauce and cooked bell peppers and onions.

Form into 12 large meatballs and place on a baking sheet.

Place in the oven for 20 minutes. Remove from the oven, top the meatballs with the pepper jack cheese and place back in the oven for 2-3 minutes.

Slice the King’s Hawaiian Jalapeno Rolls in half and place on a baking sheet and into the oven for 3-4 minutes to lightly toast.

Remove from the oven and place a meatball on the bottom of each roll, then top with guacamole and a drizzle of hot sauce, if you’d like, then place the top of the roll on the meatball.

You’re going to love these fajita meatball sliders on Hawaiian rolls with pepper jack cheese & creamy guacamole! They’re easy to make in under an hour!

Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp olive oil
