Mom’s FAMOUS  Fresh Strawberry Pie

Add strawberries, corn starch and sugar to a skillet & mash.

Cook for  20-30  minutes,  stirring consistently.

Remove from the heat, stir in lemon juice, and let cool.

Prepare the crust by combining graham cracker crumbs,  sugar  and  butter. 

Press the crust into a pie plate and bake for 6-8 minutes.

Pour filling into crust and top with halved fresh strawberries.

Chill the pie in the refrigerator  for 1 hour.

Slice and enjoy!
