Since I can never get enough wine and cheese in my life, I present to you a super simple crostini appetizer recipe featuring cheese, paired with Georges Duboeuf Beaujolais Nouveau Wine!
Beaujolais Nouveau is a fruity, easy-to-drink wine that is best served slightly chilled to bring out the fruity flavors, and perfect paired with cheese.
For my holiday party this year, I paired the Georges Duboeuf Beaujolais Nouveau with one of my favorite easy entertaining appetizers, crostinis!
Ingredients
- ½ baguette (sliced)
- 6 oz brie
- ½ granny smith apple (thinly sliced)
- 2 tbsp honey
Preheat the oven to 350°F.
Place a slice of brie on each slice of baguette.
Place into the oven for 8-10 minutes.
Remove from the oven and drizzle with honey.
Top with a slice of apple and serve.
Voila! Simple as that, you have delicious hors d’oeuvres to serve at your holiday gathering right along with the bright, fresh flavors of Beaujolais Nouveau!
