Making delicious bowls of cocktails is something I’ve become known for. In the summer, I’m all about the Lemon Berry Prosecco Sangria and at Thanksgiving, it’s all about the Cranberry Apple Sangria.

Around the holidays everyone goes crazy for this Cranberry Apple Moscow Mule Punch and this Grapefruit Ginger Spiced Rum Punch! And since it’s the holidays, it’s totally acceptable to make both!

One thing I love about serving this punch bowl at parties is that the drinks are pre-made and everyone can serve themselves whenever they’d like!

Another thing I love about this rum punch is that you simply pour everything into a bowl, stir and serve. It’s so easy to make, you can whip it up in 5 minutes to serve at your own party or take to a party!

How do you make a rum punch drink?

For this rum punch recipe, combine spiced rum, ginger beer, sparkling wine and grapefruit juice in a punch bowl. Add slices of grapefruit and fresh mint leaves on top to garnish.

How to Serve Rum Punch

Rum punch can be served in a punch bowl with a ladle or in a large pitcher.

The copper bowl I used to serve the punch holds 5 liters of punch. This recipe makes just over 3 liters of punch or 105 ounces.

Do you put ice in punch?

If serving the punch immediately, add ice to the punch bowl or place it on the side for guests to add to their glass with the punch.

If making the punch ahead of time, do not add ice until you’re ready to serve the punch or it will melt and water down the punch.

Want to look super fancy by adding something really easy? Make an ice ring to go in the punch!

Fill a bundt pan with water, then add a few pieces of sliced grapefruit and some sprigs of mint. Freeze for at least 6 hours.

To de-thaw the ice ring for the punch, run it under warm water with a large plate or baking sheet underneath until it slips out. Transfer it from the large plate into the punch bowl.
