This easy recipe for jalapeño sausage pizza is topped with a scrumptious homemade 3 cheese jalapeño ranch sauce for one seriously delicious pizza!
One of my favorite things to do when visiting my friends in Phoenix is to go eat at my besties pizzeria, Jimmy and Joe’s!
If you’ve been reading my blog for a while, you’ve definitely heard me mention Jimmy & Joe’s a time, or two, or twenty! 😉
While I know that every topping combination they have is delicious, my order is always the same, Sausage, Jalapeño, Ricotta, or as I like to call it, “The Whitney”!
Since I live in San Diego where there’s no Jimmy & Joe’s Pizzeria (not yet anyway 😉 ) I decided to make my own version of “The Whitney” at home!
I wanted to make this pizza with a “Bond Girl Twist” so I decided to make my own white sauce!
I know that everyone loves to dip their pizza in ranch dressing, so I decided to incorporate a jalapeno ranch dressing into the white sauce!
Three cheeses combined with spicy, flavorful ranch dressing, I could pretty much eat this sauce with a spoon! What’s even better is when you put it on top of a crispy pizza crust, topped with Italian sausage & fresh jalapeños, YUM!
Jalapeno Sausage Pizza Ingredients
- 1 lb Italian Sausage
- 8 oz cream cheese (cubed)
- ¾ cup chicken broth
- ½ cup parmesan cheese (grated)
- ¾ cup shredded mozzarella cheese (divided)
- ¾ cup Jalapeño Ranch Dressing
- 14 oz pizza dough
- 2 jalapeños (sliced)
Jalapeno Sausage Pizza Instructions
Preheat the oven to 425°F.
Heat a large skillet on the stovetop over medium high heat. Add the sausage to the skillet and cook through.
Set the sausage aside.
Heat a large saucepan on the stove over medium heat. Add the cream cheese and chicken broth, whisk together as the cream cheese melts.
Once smooth, add the parmesan and ½ cup mozzarella cheese, continue whisking while the cheese melts into the sauce.
Add the jalapeño ranch dressing and whisk all of the ingredients together. Reduce heat to low and simmer for 10 minutes.
Roll the pizza dough out on a baking sheet.
Pour the 3 cheese jalapeño ranch sauce onto the pizza dough.
Top with the cooked sausage and sliced jalapeños.
Sprinkle the remaining ¼ cup of mozzarella cheese on top and place in the oven to bake for 12-15 minutes.
This recipe has everything I want in a pizza. It’s crispy, cheesy, spicy, flavorful and just oh-so-good!
I love pizza so much that I dedicated an entire Pinterest board to the delicious dish, appropriately called “Pizza Glorious Pizza“! Be sure to check it out!

Oh my gosh. Pizza night just got serious 🙂
Serrrrriously Regan! That sauce is bomb.com! You’ll have to try it with Cabot mozzarella since you can get your hands on it out there 😉 And you could switch up the toppings if your kids don’t like spicy jalapeños or sausage! Pretty much anything would be delicious on that sauce!
