These Cajun Potatoes pair perfectly with Grilled Cajun Chicken or Cajun Steak Tacos!
I’m originally from Oklahoma, so there’s nothing I love more than a good meal of meat and potatoes! Especially when they’re kicked up a notch, like in the pairing of Cajun Potatoes and Blackened Beef Tenderloin.
While I originally prepared these potatoes to go with Blackened Red Snapper, I now make them all the time. The Cajun seasoning tossed on these potatoes takes you to out-of-this-world flavortown! The best part is, they’re so easy to make and pair well with tons of different recipes!
Simply toss red potatoes with olive oil and garlic, mix up the spice blend, sprinkle it on the potatoes and roast away. Seriously, it only takes 4 steps to make the best Cajun roasted potatoes ever!

Excellent side dish. Very tasty
I’ve never seen purple potatoes but I’m definitely going to try this recipes with the regular sort!
What exactly is a purple potato? I don’t think I’ve ever seen them before. Are they hard to find? Do they do by another name other than purple potato?
Looks great!
