What’s in a buffalo chicken wrap?

Every good Buffalo Chicken Wrap recipe needs shredded chicken tossed with buffalo sauce, veggies and cheese. For this recipe, I added shredded carrots, thinly sliced red onions, spinach, blue cheese crumbles and blue cheese dressing.

More of a ranch dressing fan? No problem, substitute the blue cheese dressing for ranch dressing. Not a blue cheese fan at all? Substitute the blue cheese crumbles with shredded pepper jack or cheddar cheese.

Prefer lettuce instead of spinach? No problem! Shredded lettuce can be used instead of spinach leaves.

Want to add more veggies to the wrap? Toss in some bell pepper strips, diced tomatoes or chopped celery.

Needless to say, it’s easy to make these wraps your own!

Are the wraps healthy?

Shredded chicken breast tossed in buffalo sauce is healthy and low in calories. The other ingredients you add to the wrap will determine how healthy the wrap is.

Buffalo chicken wraps are delicious served warm or cold. If you have access to a panini press, you can press the wrap, just like you would a sandwich. You can also heat the wrap for 1-2 minutes per side on the stove in a skillet over medium high heat.

The wraps can also be made ahead of time. Wrap them in foil or store them in ziplock bags in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. They can then be eaten cold straight out of the fridge or heated and served warm.
