One week from today is Valentine’s Day and whether you’re celebrating with a significant other, friends or family, everyone is going to LOVE these Red Velvet Oreo Cheesecake Bars!
When Red Velvet Oreos were released in 2015, I fell in love with the delicious red velvet spin on the classic cookie with cream cheese filling. I mean, does life get any better?!
For two years I’ve wanted to take these magically delectable cookies and turn them into a sweet treat for Valentine’s Day, and today is finally the day I did it!
I put a spin on my Frozen Strawberry Cheesecake Bars that are always a hit in the summer and created these Red Velvet Oreo No Bake Cheesecake Bars!
They’re sweet, creamy and oh-so-decadent!
For an extra cute Valentine’s Day touch, cut the bars into small or large heart shapes! It’s so easy and so adorable!
Red Velvet Oreo Cheesecake Bar Ingredients
- 1 ½ packages Red Velvet Oreo Cookies (divided)
- 5 tbsp butter (melted)
- 3 (8 oz) packages cream cheese
- 1 ½ cups powdered sugar
- ¼ cup milk
- 1 tsp vanilla
Red Velvet Oreo Cheesecake Bar Instructions
Line a 9”x13” baking dish with parchment paper.
Place one package of Red Velvet Oreos in a food processor and blend into a fine crumb mixture, mix in the butter. Press into the bottom of the parchment lined baking dish.
Place in the freezer while preparing the cheesecake filling.
In a large bowl, combine the cream cheese, powdered sugar, milk and vanilla with an electric hand mixer. Blend until creamy.
Take the remaining ½ package of Red Velvet Oreo cookies and break into pieces. Hand mix in ¾ of the red velvet pieces into the cheesecake filling.
Remove the crust from the freezer. Spread the cheesecake on top. Press the remaining Red Velvet Oreo pieces on the top of the cheesecake.
Place in the freezer for at least 4 hours.
Remove the cheesecake bars from the freezer 15-20 minutes before serving to thaw.
Cut into bars or use a heart shaped cookie cutter to cut in heart shapes.
I used both an average sized heart shaped cookie cutter and a smaller heart shaped cookie cutter to make two different sizes.
The smaller cheesecake hearts are the perfect bite-sized treat!
While the larger ones are perfect for digging into for dessert after a lovely Valentine’s Day Dinner (that should definitely include Heart Shaped Pizza! 🙂 )
No matter the size or shape, these decadent Red Velvet Oreo Cheesecake Bars are sure to be a hit with friends, family and loved ones!
