Cranberry Pear French Toast Bake

Fresh cranberries and pears add a tart, sweet burst of flavor to this deliciously simple french toast bake recipe, that’s perfect for breakfast or brunch!

Fresh cranberries add a beautiful red burst of tartness to this French Toast Bake, while the pears add a hint of sweetness!
I prepared the dish with King’s Hawaiian Rolls, adding just a little more sweetness to the recipe.
It’s so simple to make, it looks beautiful and it’s so scrumptious, it’s the perfect breakfast for Christmas or Thanksgiving morning, or brunch year-round!
Ingredients
- 12 King’s Hawaiian rolls (cubed)
- 1 cup fresh cranberries
- 1 cup diced pears
- 2 cups milk
- 4 large eggs
- ¼ cup honey
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- ½ tsp ground cinnamon
- ¼ tsp ground nutmeg
Preheat the oven to 350°F.
Coat a 9″ x 13″ baking dish in cooking spray.
Place the cubed Hawaiian rolls in the baking dish, toss in the cranberries and diced pears.
Whisk the milk, eggs, honey, vanilla, cinnamon and nutmeg together in a mixing bowl.
Pour the mixture into the baking dish over the rolls and fruit.
Place in the oven and bake for 30 minutes. Cover with foil and bake for an additional 30 minutes.
If you’d like, you can dust a little powdered sugar over the top, because, well it’s pretty and tasty!
